Tee shirts & pre-registration

As with last year, entry will cost $50.
If you pre-register, this cost will include a 2011 "Citroen Extreme Kayak New Zealand Championships" limited edition tee!
Pre-registration closes on Sunday 6th March.
If you choose not to pre-register, and enter on the day, it will still cost $50 but there will be no tee shirt.

How to pre-register...
Pre-registration will be by direct credit only.

1. Direct Credit $50 to Amateur Athletes Otago. Bank account number 03-0883-0262791-00
2. Make sure you put your name as a reference!! Also note Citroen on the payment!
3. Email Roy Bailey at bailey.builders@xtra.co.nz with your tee shirt size, name, and date paid.

Spectators

Bring your non-kayaking mates.
Spectators will get ferried to and from the rapid by motorboat for $5 to watch the excitement.

C Bomb

Well with another epic race comes another epic dress up party.
This year the theme is C for catwoman, c?!t, cletus the slackjawed yokel, crocodile, cougar (you ladies know who you are and don't show up as yourselves).
We are going to be having another awesome bbq (vegetarians catered for) and selling drinks.
Come prepared for a long night of live music.
Camping available at the site for free!

The first ever New Zealand Extreme Kayak Championships!

Write it in your Diary...
March 12 2011 is the date for this years Citroen Extreme Kayak New Zealand Championships.
Get on board the migration south, starting at the 2011 Bullerfest (March 4, 5, 6), continue down the West Coast and get amongst some of the countries best rivers and find yourself at the Citroen put in by Saturday March 12.
The format is much the same as last year, with one extra seading round added at the beginnig of the day.
Four people starting on a 6 metre ramp, launching in to the Kawarau River and racing through the Citroen rapid to the finish line.
Expect some tight racing and a bit of carnage.
